1967-72 F100 Center Console Kit for Bench Seat
The pattern for where the individual panels go is drawn out on the inside of each side panel. You won’t need to measure anything. Drill holes for where you want to put screws so you don’t split the wood, then lay one of the side panels down on the table and sit the individual pieces in place. Screw them to the side panel then flip it over and screw them to the other side panel. It’s best to glue the pieces together, then remove the screws and fill the holes.
The console can be bodyworked, primered and painted just like the body of the vehicle. Some customers paint them, and some customers have them covered in vinyl or leather.
The console in the pictures Is the prototype. The production console will not have a gap between the face plate and the cupholder plate, and it will be 3 1/2 inches longer from front to back. This way it will reach the front of the seat if you have it pushed all the way back. If you’re not gonna have your seat all the way back just trim the console to fit. The console was designed using a low hump floor, but it can be trimmed to fit a high hump.
