The top grill center section does not have the stamped indentions for the turn signals that the lower grill section has. When you relocate your turn signals it leaves the stamped indentions visible. Installing a top center section on the bottom eliminates the indentions without having to shave them. 

Relocating the turn signals make the upper and lower opening look balanced and gets rid of the huge factory turn signals.
